A first generation entrepreneur, Onkar is the founder of Nextstra Consulting. He has over 21 years of global expertise in Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Industrial Engineering and Information Technology Consulting. Onkar has advised CIOs on managing global Enterprise IT solutions and managed large global teams with complete P&L responsibility.

At Nextstra, Onkar spearheaded first strategy engagement for a US client and has been instrumental in starting the business transformation consulting. He is also among the first 25 BCS ISEB certified professionals in India and has started pioneering “Green IT Consulting” practice at Nextstra.

Onkar has written articles in various national publications and is invited for delivering lectures on Green IT & Technology Adoption.

Makrand Dekhane is one of the founders of Nextstra Consulting, with more than 20 years of experience. His experience spans across functions such as Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Internal audit, and his area of expertise includes business strategy formulation, supply-chain strategy, and process streamlining.

As a solution architect, Makrand has consulted global corporations like Sony, Motorola, Panasonic, NEC & Avago Technologies across geographies like India, Europe, Japan, Singapore, Philippines & US.

He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from IIT, Kanpur and an MBA from IIM, Kolkata in India.

He is an empanelled mentor with IIMA’s Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship. He likes to read fiction, management topics & likes to travel globally.
